Administration
Arcturus is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging inquiring individuals in their quest for a comprehensive view of cosmos and humanity.
Arcturus is directed by two main governing groups of individuals: The Core Group and the Board of Trustees.
The Core Group is responsible for the overall well-being of Arcturus, its programs, schedules and dates, as well as all student matters. Individual student matters may be discussed. Meetings are usually weekly.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for all financial and legal matters. The Board meets usually on a monthly basis.
The Faculty meets as a whole several times during the year. Faculty members also serve as Mentors for individual students. Mentors seek to address students’ concerns and, where needed, pass them on to the respective groups for consideration.
The Office Staff handles the routine matters of communication with Students, Faculty, Core Group, and Board. They also manage the record keeping for these groups. The Bookkeeper in collaboration with the Board Treasurer is responsible for the financial contracts and communications as well as on-going cash flow management.
